In June 2025, a new European Union regulation will go into effect requiring all smartphones and tablets on the market to display an energy label. Energy efficiency and battery life are two consumer led key characteristics that will be addressed in the new regulation. Anritsu and SmartViser have developed a complete solution for testing and declaration of energy classes, using an automated device test software from SmartViser together with Anritsu’s MD8475B network simulator.
