RF Interference from Common Domestic Appliances

The Anritsu Field Master spectrum analyzers include a Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer (RTSA) option, which is ideal for viewing the impact of RF interference caused by common domestic appliances. Interference from microwave ovens, power drills, and fluorescent lamps is shown to degrade cellular and WLAN/Bluetooth communications. The RTSA's unique ability to view short bursts of interference as well as wideband noise is highlighted.
