Emerging Aerospace, Defense, and Maritime Systems and How to Test Them

Emerging technologies and an ever-changing world have created a new generation of increasingly complex aerospace, defense, and maritime systems. Those responsible for the design and operation of these systems must implement new, advanced test processes to verify performance in mission-critical use cases. 

Here are some key trends and necessary test solutions to ensure performance in modern aerospace, defense, and maritime environments.

Radar-based Systems

Industry Trends –  The U.S. military has launched multiple projects to advance radar systems in airborne, land, and sea missions. Developments in high-performance embedded computing are enhancing radar imagery to protect U.S. and allied militaries from sophisticated threats.

Modern, advanced military radar systems are designed with more transceivers in various positions, such as Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESAs). Today’s radar systems must seamlessly integrate into today’s military, which requires greater processing power to succeed in a more dynamic battlespace.
