Webinar Abstract:
IoT can be described as the “wild west” of the RF world as it is an expanding frontier with a diverse array of technologies and multiple standards from different organizations, bringing challenges for embedded developers. However, it’s crucial that developers have confidence in their chipsets, modules, end devices and networks, especially in the RF domain where environments significantly change once they reach the end user. RF testing provides a means to develop and produce high-performing IoT devices.
This webinar will focus on conducting RF measurements for an IoT device using network simulators, and includes 5G, LTE, NB-IoT, Cat-M, wireless LAN (WLAN), V2X, Bluetooth and Zigbee.
Test topics include the following and more:
- Transmit power, frequency and modulation measurements
- Receiver sensitivity and error rate measurements
- Carrier Aggregation / MIMO
- Signaling and Non-Signaling measurements
- Coexistence Testing
- Manual and Automated testing
- IP Data Throughput
