Negative Testing for 5G TCU

5G NR with its flexible architecture and capability to provide higher order throughputs, reduced latency, and ultrahigh reliability enables the vehicles of the future to deliver a variety of services. In testing the cellular capability of Telematic Control Unit (TCU) it is important to test abnormal situations that may arise due to misconfigurations, bad state actors, or the current conditions resulting in corrupt messages. The OEMs can decide on methods of how they expect the device or TCU to respond in such a scenario. The challenge will be first to create such negative scenarios. Anritsu Rapid Test Development (RTD) provides a way to create and configure different test scenarios, allowing maximum configuration to create user-specific negative test patterns.
